The Common Core Demands of Material Handling in Manufacturing Enterprises
Adaptation requirements for heavy-duty operations
Energy efficiency standards for high-frequency turnover
Many medium-sized and above-sized manufacturing plants simultaneously cover multiple handling links such as raw material warehousing, line-side transshipment, and finished product outbound. Heavy-duty materials account for more than 60% of the total handling volume. Traditional handling equipment is often difficult to balance the multiple requirements of operational flexibility, battery life stability, and cost of use, making it difficult to support continuous operation requirements throughout the day.
Implementation of Adaptive Material Handling Scheme
Scenario-based vehicle parameter adaptation
Full link handling process combing
The application scenario of this case is a large-scale equipment manufacturing plant. The handling link covers the three core areas of raw material storage, final assembly production workshop, and finished product turnover warehouse. The average daily operation time of a single operating equipment exceeds 8 hours, and the maximum handling load of a single trip can reach 3 tons. The 3-ton counterweight electric forklift selected in the plan has a moderate body size, and the steering flexibility is fully adapted to the traffic requirements of the narrow channel in the workshop. The power unit supports full-load operation throughout the day without the need for midway replenishment. The heavy-load lifting process is smooth and smooth, and can match the handling and use requirements of various standard pallets and heavy material tooling baskets. Before the project was launched, the operation team also sorted out all the handling routes in the factory one by one, marking special points such as narrow passages and sloping sections, and optimized the operation route to further reduce the safety hazards of the handling process.
The actual operating income after the implementation of the plan
Steady improvement in operational efficiency
Reasonable control of comprehensive costs
After the set of material handling scheme has been put into use for a period of time, the overall material turnover efficiency of the factory area has been significantly improved compared with before, the noise of the whole operation is at a low level, and it will not interfere with the normal operation order of the production workshop. Compared with traditional internal combustion handling equipment, the energy consumption cost of the equipment has been significantly reduced. DevOps flow is also simpler, and there is no need to deal with complex oil circuit related faults frequently. This helps enterprises build a smoother full-link material flow system, and also provides a reference for the handling and upgrading of the same type of manufacturing enterprises.
