In the operating cost of a warehouse fleet, the proportion of equipment energy consumption is always the core component. Especially in the scenario of frequent logistics turnover, the fluctuation of energy consumption costs directly affects the overall income. This time, the energy consumption measurement of electric forklifts focuses on the core working conditions of daily warehousing operations, aiming to provide practical data support for fleet cost reduction. The core pain point of warehouse fleet cost reduction is that traditional power forklifts have high fuel costs, strict emission control, and long equipment maintenance cycles, while the energy consumption performance of electric forklifts has become one of the key indicators of model selection. The measured scene is set as a standard warehousing operation environment, covering three types of high-frequency actions of heavy-duty handling, high-level stacking, and short-distance transshipment, and records the energy consumption changes in different operating periods. The measured results show that under 8 consecutive hours of standardized operation, the average energy consumption of electric forklifts is within a reasonable range in the industry, and the energy consumption difference between no-load and heavy-load conditions is controlled within 20%. Compared with traditional fuel forklifts of the same scale, the monthly energy consumption cost can be reduced by about 60%, and only basic inspections are required for daily maintenance, reducing additional expenses. The recommendations for reducing this cost based on the measured data include that the selection of warehouse fleets prioritizes the energy consumption value of the actual operating conditions rather than the nominal data, optimizes the operation route to reduce the no-load mileage, regularly calibrates the equipment parameters to improve energy efficiency, and at the same time matches a reasonable charging management strategy to avoid charging during peak electricity price periods and further reduce operating costs.
