Narrow aisle storage is the mainstream mode of high-density storage layout at present. 3-ton forklifts are commonly used in such scenarios for loading and unloading and handling equipment. The degree of fit between the door frame and the body directly determines the operation efficiency, space utilization and operation safety. Before selecting a model, it is necessary to clarify the basic operation parameters of the site, and then match the parameters of the components.
The core reference dimension of door frame selection
First of all, it is necessary to match the lifting height of the operation. Before selecting the type, it is necessary to measure the highest working floor height of the storage shelf, stack the height of the tray, the goods and the safety margin of 15 to 20 cm, and then select the door frame corresponding to the lifting parameters to avoid the problem of insufficient lifting height. If the top of the storage channel has limited height requirements, you can choose a door frame with free lifting function. This kind of door frame will not increase the overall height in the initial lifting stage, which can avoid the top of the door frame colliding with the pipeline or upper shelf at the top of the channel. At the same time, it is necessary to give priority to the door frame structure with less occlusion of the field of view to reduce the blind spot of observation during narrow channel operation and reduce the risk of goods bumping and personnel injury.
The core reference dimension of body selection
First of all, it is necessary to confirm the fit between the width of the body and the channel. Usually, the overall width of the body should be 30 to 50 cm narrower than the net width of the channel, and enough avoidance space should be reserved to avoid the body scratching the shelves on both sides during operation. The turning radius is the core indicator of the body selection. For narrow channel operations, short-tailed or tailless body designs are preferred, and the tail sweeping space when turning is minimized. There is no need to significantly widen the channel to meet the steering needs, which can further improve the space utilization of storage. Also pay attention to the counterweight layout of the body. The counterweight should not exceed the lateral width of the body as much as possible. At the same time, the overall stability under the rated load of 3 tons should be guaranteed to avoid the risk of rolling during heavy-duty operations If there is a slight slope or seam on the storage floor, a body with a moderate chassis height can be selected appropriately to avoid the chassis scratching the ground during operation and affecting the traffic efficiency.
Before selecting a model, it is recommended to complete a complete survey of on-site parameters, including channel width, shelf height, weight and size of conventional goods, ground level, etc., synchronize these parameters and then match the corresponding door frame and body parameters. At the same time, ensure that the selected equipment meets the relevant safety regulations of motor vehicles in the field, and ensure the safety of operations from the source.
