Electric forklifts are commonly used operating equipment in warehousing and logistics scenarios. Standardizing and implementing daily maintenance can not only reduce downtime, but also improve operational safety and reduce long-term use costs.

Daily maintenance items

Before the operation, check whether the appearance of the car body is bumped and deformed, whether the tire pressure is in the normal range, and whether the wheel hub screws are loose. Secondly, test the travel and sensitivity of the brake pedal to confirm that the handbrake can be locked normally, and then check whether the horn, lights, turn signals and other warning devices can operate normally. Finally, check the fault prompt of the instrument panel to confirm that the remaining power can meet the operation needs of the day.

In the post-operation inspection process, dust, debris and water stains on the surface of the car body should be cleaned up in time after closing the car every day, especially the accumulated debris in the motor and electronic control parts to avoid affecting heat dissipation. Also check whether there are any traces of oil leakage in the hydraulic system, whether the fork arm and gantry are deformed or cracked, and finally park the vehicle in a flat and dry designated area, pull the handbrake, and turn off the main power supply after lowering the fork arm to the ground.

Weekly maintenance project

First of all, do a component fastening inspection, tighten the screws at each connecting part of the body one by one, focusing on the connecting parts of the gantry chain, steering system, and transmission system to avoid operation risks caused by loosening. Secondly, check whether the liquid level of the hydraulic oil is in the normal range. If it is insufficient, add the hydraulic oil of the same type. For models equipped with lead-acid batteries, check the electrolyte level. When it is lower than the scale line, add distilled water. At the same time, clean the oxides on the battery poles and apply protective grease to avoid corrosion.

monthly maintenance items

First of all, do performance testing, conduct a comprehensive test of the braking system, check the degree of wear of the brake pads, replace them in time when they wear to the warning value, and test the flexibility of the steering system, check for any cards or deviations, and adjust the clearance of parts in time. Secondly, do wear and tear parts investigation, check the wear of tires, replace them in time if there are bulges, cracks or pattern grinding, clean the hydraulic oil filter, and replace them in time if there is blockage or the filtering effect is reduced. At the same time, add grease to the door frame, chain and other movable parts to reduce friction loss.

Annual maintenance project

Every year, a comprehensive performance inspection of the entire vehicle is conducted, with professional maintenance personnel conducting comprehensive fault investigation of the motor, electronic control, and hydraulic systems, replacing aging seals and circuits, replacing all hydraulic oils and lubricants, and conducting a comprehensive assessment of the entire vehicle's safety performance to eliminate potential safety hazards.

Users can adjust the maintenance frequency according to the actual usage frequency, and high-intensity operation scenarios can shorten the maintenance cycle to ensure that the equipment is always in good working condition.
