The filter element system of an internal combustion lithium forklift is the core link to ensure the power output of the equipment and reduce the wear of the components. Regularly replacing the filter element according to the corresponding specifications can effectively prolong the service life of the forklift and reduce the failure rate. For BYD internal combustion lithium forklifts, different types of filter elements have clear replacement specifications and cycle requirements, which need to be flexibly adjusted according to actual working conditions.

The fuel filter element is the first line of defense for fuel cleaning, and its replacement specifications need to match the pressure and flow parameters of the forklift fuel system. Under normal operating conditions, the fuel filter element needs to be replaced every 200 hours; if it is operated in a dusty and humid environment for a long time, the replacement cycle should be shortened to about 150 hours. When replacing, a filter element with the corresponding filtration accuracy should be selected to avoid incomplete filtration of fuel impurities due to inconsistent specifications and affect engine performance.

The replacement of the oil filter element is usually carried out synchronously with the oil replacement, and it is replaced every 500 hours under normal working conditions. The filter element specification needs to be adapted to the model and displacement of the forklift engine, and the filtration accuracy needs to meet the requirements of the engine lubrication system to ensure that the metal debris, colloids and other impurities in the oil can be effectively filtered to provide reliable lubrication for the internal parts of the engine. If the forklift starts and stops frequently or is overloaded, the replacement cycle of the oil filter element can be appropriately advanced to 400 hours.

The air filter element is divided into two parts: the outer core and the inner core. The outer core mainly filters large particles of dust. Under normal working conditions, it needs to be cleaned every 100 hours and replaced every 500 hours; the inner core is used as a fine filter layer, and the replacement cycle is 1000 hours. The filter element specifications need to be exactly matched with the size of the air inlet of the forklift, and the sealing fit is up to standard to prevent unfiltered air from entering the engine, resulting in increased cylinder wear. When operating in a dusty environment, the cleaning and replacement cycle of the outer core needs to be shortened by about 30%.

The hydraulic oil filter element is related to the stability of the hydraulic system. It is replaced every 1000 hours under normal working conditions. If the forklift truck performs high-intensity lifting and handling operations for a long time, the replacement cycle should be adjusted to 800 hours. The filter element specifications need to be adapted to the flow parameters and filtration accuracy requirements of the hydraulic system to ensure that impurities in the hydraulic oil are filtered and to avoid sticking or wear of hydraulic valves, hydraulic cylinders and other components.

When replacing the filter element, it is necessary to pay attention to the power failure before operation. After the equipment cools down, clean the surrounding area of the filter element before replacement to prevent impurities from entering the system. After replacement, check whether the seals are installed in place to avoid leakage. Strictly following the filter element replacement specifications and cycles is an important maintenance link to ensure the efficient and stable operation of BYD's internal combustion lithium-electric forklift.
