Containers, as the core carrier of cross-border logistics and trunk transportation, have limited internal space height. When conventional forklifts operate, the door frame will rise with a raised top, which is easy to bump against the top plate of the container. At the same time, the lifting height of the conventional door frame is insufficient, making it difficult to complete the stacking and unpacking of the top-level goods inside the container. Such scenarios have long suffered from low operating efficiency and high safety hazards.
Adaptation advantages of fully free gantry electric forklift
The fully free gantry adopts a special structural design, which can realize the operation mode in which the fork is lifted first and the outer gantry remains stationary. The working height of the gantry before the overall lifting is fully adapted to the height limit requirements inside the container, and there will be no bumping problem of super wide and super high at the top. At the same time, the electric drive mode has no exhaust emissions, which fully meets the environmental protection requirements of the operation in the closed container. The low noise characteristics can also reduce the operating fatigue of the operator. Compared with the fuel forklift with the same load, the operating energy cost can be reduced by more than half.
Precautions for actual operation
Before the operation, it is necessary to confirm the flatness of the ground inside the container and the remaining working height, adjust the spacing of the forks to fit the size of the cargo pallet, and check whether the braking and lifting functions of the forklift are normal to confirm that the container is fixed in place and will not slide. During the operation, when the door frame is raised to a critical height, the lifting speed should be slowed down to avoid the fork bumping the top layer of goods or the top of the container. When loading and unloading goods at a high level, ensure that the goods are placed in the center on the fork. After the operation, the fork should be reduced to the lowest position, and then the door frame should be retracted and then driven out of the container at a low speed to avoid the door frame scratching the entrance of the container.
The popularity of this type of forklift in high-level container loading and unloading scenarios has effectively solved the adaptation pain points of traditional equipment. The electric model has lower operating costs and simpler maintenance. At the same time, the design of the fully free gantry has greatly improved the safety of the operation. The efficiency of single-container loading and unloading has been significantly improved. It has been widely used in port freight stations, cross-border e-commerce warehousing, trunk logistics transfer centers, etc., and has become one of the commonly used equipment for container loading and unloading operations.
