Testing environment and preparation
test scenario setting
This test selects two types of scenarios common in the domestic cold chain industry: room temperature cold storage and low temperature cold storage. The test temperature range covers 0 degrees Celsius to minus 25 degrees Celsius, matching the daily operating temperature of conventional fresh storage and frozen food storage. The test cycle is set to 72 hours of continuous uninterrupted operation, simulating the whole process operation scenarios of cargo loading and unloading, short-distance transshipment, and high-level stacking in daily operation. The operation load covers 60% to 100% of the rated load, restoring the true operating state under different operation intensities.
Core Dimension Measured Performance
Battery life and energy performance
Affected by the decrease in battery activity in a low temperature environment, the battery life performance of the electric forklift will attenuate to a certain extent compared with the normal temperature environment. In this actual measurement, the electric forklift in the fully charged state can operate continuously in the cold storage at about minus 20 degrees Celsius for about 85% of the normal temperature environment, and the energy consumption level is increased by about 12% compared with the normal temperature environment. There are no abnormalities such as sudden power failure and power interruption throughout the process, and the attenuation is in line with industry conventional expectations.
Dynamics and handling performance
Under typical operating scenarios such as full load climbing and high-level stacking above 3 meters, the power output of the electric forklift remains stable, and the response speed of steering and fork lifting is basically the same as that in the normal temperature environment. There is no operation delay or power shortage. According to the feedback from the operators participating in the test, the handling feel of the vehicle in the low temperature environment is not significantly different from that in the normal temperature operation, and it can be operated skillfully without additional adaptation.
Equipment stability performance
During the 72-hour continuous operation, the seals and electronic components of the vehicle did not malfunction at low temperatures, the tires and hydraulic systems operated stably, and there were no abnormal conditions such as leakage or jamming. The overall operation failure rate was lower than the industry average, capable of adapting to high-intensity continuous operation requirements.
Measured summary and scene adaptation suggestions
From the test results, this electric forklift can adapt to the operation needs of most conventional cold storage, and the comprehensive performance in low temperature environment can meet the daily operation requirements. Compared with traditional internal combustion forklifts, electric forklifts have no exhaust emissions in closed cold storage, lower operating noise, and more obvious adaptability advantages. Cold storage operators can choose the corresponding configuration according to their own operation intensity and cold storage temperature range to improve operation efficiency while reducing comprehensive operating costs.
