As the core component of the lifting action in the AGV equipment, the operation stability of the AGV jacking screw directly affects the operation efficiency and service life of the equipment. And the reasonable filling of supporting maintenance grease is the key link to ensure the smooth operation of the screw and reduce wear, so it is particularly important to master the scientific filling cycle.
In normal operating conditions such as indoor storage and workshops with clean environment and stable temperature (10 ° C to 30 ° C), AGV jacking screws usually operate for 8-12 hours a day, and the wear rate is relatively slow. It is recommended to add grease every 3 months to maintain the lubrication protection performance of grease and avoid the loss of components caused by dry friction.
If the AGV is in a high-load operating environment, the daily running time exceeds 16 hours, or the load-bearing weight is close to the rated upper limit of the equipment, the pressure and wear rate of the lead screw will be significantly increased. In this case, the grease filling cycle needs to be shortened to once every 1.5 months, and the oil state needs to be paid attention to daily. If the grease is found to be black or agglomerated, it should be cleaned and refilled in time.
In the special environment of low temperature (lower than 5 ° C), high temperature (higher than 40 ° C) or dust, the oxidation and deterioration speed of grease is accelerated, and dust is also easily mixed into the lead screw gap to affect the lubrication effect. It is recommended to add grease every 1 month. Before filling, the surface of the lead screw needs to be simply cleaned to remove the attached dust and old grease residue to ensure that the new grease can fully play its role.
In addition, special maintenance grease that meets the specifications of the lead screw should be used during maintenance to avoid lubrication failure caused by mixing different types of grease. When filling, control the dosage. Too much grease can easily cause grease overflow to pollute surrounding parts, and too little can not form an effective protective oil film. During daily inspections, you can judge whether grease needs to be added in advance by observing the running noise of the lead screw and the smoothness of the lifting action.
A reasonable grease filling cycle should be determined comprehensively in combination with the operating conditions and operating time of the equipment. Following a scientific filling cycle can not only reduce the wear rate of the screw and prolong the service life of the components, but also improve the overall operating reliability of the AGV equipment and reduce the downtime loss caused by failure.
