Analysis of charging time of BYD P30PS electric forklift
Duration in regular charging mode
In the normal charging mode, if the remaining battery power of the forklift is 20% or less, use the standard charger to charge, and it usually takes 8 to 10 hours to fully charge the battery. This mode is suitable for charging at night or during non-working hours, which can ensure that the battery is fully stored and has little battery loss.
Duration in fast charging mode
For emergency replenishment needs, the forklift supports fast charging mode, which can generally charge the battery to about 80% within 2 to 3 hours. However, it should be noted that fast charging is only suitable for temporary emergency replenishment. Frequent use of fast charging may shorten the service life of the battery. It is still recommended to use regular charging as the main daily charge.
Factors that affect charging time
The charging time is not a fixed value and will be affected by a variety of factors. For example, when the ambient temperature is too low, the battery activity will decrease, the charging efficiency will decrease, and the charging time will increase; if the remaining battery power is high, the charging time will be shortened accordingly; in addition, the aging or failure of the charger may also cause the charging time to become longer, and the status of the charger should be checked regularly.
Precautions for daily use of BYD P30PS electric forklift
Precautions in the charging process
Before charging, turn off the power of the forklift, check whether the appearance of the battery is damaged or leaking, and confirm that the charger connection port is clean and free of foreign objects. Charge in a well-ventilated and suitable temperature environment to avoid operating in high temperature exposure or humid water accumulation areas. Disconnect the power plug in time after charging.
Daily operation precautions
Before starting, check whether the brakes, steering, lights and other components of the forklift are normal, and then start after confirming that they are correct. When operating, you need to strictly abide by the rated load requirements to avoid overload operation; maintain a uniform speed during driving, try to avoid sudden acceleration, sudden braking or rapid turning to prevent the goods from falling or the forklift from being damaged.
Battery maintenance precautions
Check the electrolyte level of the battery regularly (if applicable), and replenish the special electrolyte in time when the liquid level is insufficient; keep the battery surface clean and dry to avoid dust and oil accumulation affecting the battery performance. When parked for a long time, charge the battery to 50% to 70%, and replenish the battery every 1 to 2 months to prevent the battery from losing power.
