When the electric forklift lift cylinder oil leakage occurs, timely replacement of the sealing dust jacket is an effective way to solve the problem. The following is the complete operation process.

The first is the preliminary preparation work. Operators need to wear protective gear such as labor insurance gloves and goggles to ensure their own safety. Prepare suitable tools and materials such as sealed dust kit, socket wrench, screwdriver, hydraulic oil drum, cleaning brush, lubricating oil. Before operation, park the forklift on a flat and solid ground, pull up the parking brake, cut off the power supply and lock the door to avoid accidental start. At the same time, slowly lower the fork to the lowest position to reduce the hydraulic pressure in the oil cylinder.

Next, disassemble the cylinder. First find the oil drain plug at the bottom of the cylinder, place the hydraulic oil drum below, and unscrew the plug to release the hydraulic oil in the cylinder. Use a socket wrench to remove the hydraulic YouTube at both ends of the cylinder one by one, and mark it when disassembling to facilitate subsequent reinstallation of the corresponding interface. With the help of lifting equipment or a manual hoist, smoothly lift the lift cylinder, remove it from the forklift bracket, and place it on a clean workbench.

Then comes the dismantling and cleaning of the cylinder parts. Use a screwdriver and wrench to carefully remove the end cover fixing bolts of the cylinder. When removing the end cover, pay attention to the strength to avoid damaging the sealing ring groove. Slowly pull out the piston rod and take out the original sealing dust kit. Use a cleaning brush to clean the oil stains and impurities on the inner wall of the cylinder and the surface of the piston rod. Check whether the parts are worn or deformed. If there is serious wear, replace the corresponding parts synchronously.

Replacing the sealed dust kit is the core step. Take out the new sealed dust kit and check that the model size is the same as the original part. Apply a small amount of lubricating oil to the surface of the sealing ring, and install the dust ring, main sealing ring and other parts in the correct direction to ensure that each part is embedded in the corresponding groove without distortion or dislocation. Avoid using sharp tools during installation to prevent scratching the seal.

After that, the cylinder is reinstalled and debugged. Slowly push the piston rod with lubricating oil into the cylinder, align the position of the end cover, tighten the fixing bolt, pay attention to the uniform strength of the bolt, and avoid the skew of the end cover. Load the cylinder back into the forklift bracket, connect the hydraulic YouTube according to the marks, and ensure that the interface is tightly sealed. Fill the suitable hydraulic oil into the cylinder to remove the air in the cylinder. Start the forklift, repeatedly operate the lifting mechanism, observe whether the cylinder is working normally, and check whether there is still oil leakage at the interface and seal.

Finally, do a post-inspection. After the replacement is completed, continuously observe the forklift for 3-5 operating cycles to confirm that the oil leakage problem is completely solved. Regularly check the status of the sealed dust kit, do daily cleaning and maintenance, and prolong the service life of the cylinder.
