Cleaning and visual inspection

Regularly clean the surface of the battery, wipe dust and stains with a dry and soft rag to avoid dust accumulation affecting heat dissipation. At the same time, check whether the battery shell is damaged or leaking, and whether the terminal is loose or rusted. If rust is found, it can be cleaned with a special cleaner to ensure that the wiring is firmly in good contact.

Charging specification

Charge with a suitable dedicated charger to avoid mixing chargers of different specifications. When charging, ensure that the environment is well ventilated and away from open flames and high temperature areas. Follow the principle of reasonable charging and discharging to avoid overdischarging or overcharging the battery. Charge in time when the battery is remaining at 20% -30%. Disconnect the power supply in time after charging to prevent overcharging damage to the battery.

Storage precautions

If the forklift is idle for a long time, it is necessary to charge the battery to about 80% and store it. The storage environment should be kept dry and ventilated, and the temperature should be controlled between 5 ° C and 30 ° C to avoid being in a high temperature, humid or cold environment. Recharge the battery every 1-2 months to prevent battery loss from affecting performance.

Try to avoid using forklifts in high-temperature sun exposure, rain, snow and humid environments. High temperatures will accelerate the chemical reactions inside the battery and shorten its lifespan; humid environments may cause short-circuit failures. If you must operate in a special environment, check and clean the battery in time after operation.

If you find that the battery decline rate is significantly accelerated, the charging time is significantly extended, or abnormal situations such as abnormal noises and odors occur, you should immediately stop using it and contact a professional for inspection and maintenance to avoid the failure expanding and affecting the battery life.
