Due to the presence of flammable and explosive paint raw materials and volatile gases in the paint production workshop, the safety risk of the operating environment is high. As the core equipment of material transfer in the workshop, the standardized use of explosion-proof electric forklifts is a key link to ensure production safety.
Safety inspection before operation
Before operation, it is necessary to comprehensively check the explosion-proof performance and vehicle status of the forklift. First, check whether the explosion-proof lamps, explosion-proof switches and other explosion-proof components are in good condition, and whether there are any signs of leakage at the battery seal. Second, confirm that the tire pressure is normal, the braking system is sensitive and reliable, and the steering system is not stuck. Finally, check the operation area to ensure that there is no flammable and explosive gas leakage, and the passage is smooth and free of obstacles.
Operating specifications in the job
Before starting the forklift, it is necessary to confirm that there are no unrelated personnel around and start slowly; keep driving at a low speed during the driving process to avoid sudden acceleration and braking, and decelerate and honk in advance when turning; when handling materials, ensure that the goods are stacked smoothly and the center of gravity is moderate, and overload operations are strictly prohibited; in narrow passages or intersections, it is necessary to slow down and avoid personnel and other equipment; forklift maintenance, charging, and other operations that may generate electric sparks are strictly prohibited in flammable and explosive areas.
Maintenance and parking after operation
After the operation, it is necessary to park the forklift in a designated safe area, away from the storage point of flammable and explosive materials; turn off the power supply and unplug the key to clean up the remaining paint materials on the forklift to avoid hidden dangers caused by accumulation; regularly arrange professionals to inspect and maintain the explosion-proof parts, batteries, and braking systems, and record the maintenance situation in detail to ensure the stable performance of the equipment.
Emergency response points
If there is a vehicle failure during operation, it is necessary to immediately turn off the power supply, evacuate to a safe area and report to the management personnel; in case of flammable and explosive gas leakage, the forklift should be quickly driven away from the dangerous area to avoid accidents caused by electric sparks; in case of a small-scale fire, it is necessary to use the explosion-proof fire extinguisher equipped in the workshop for rescue, and call the emergency rescue number at the same time.
