Light warehousing operation test: BYD Blue Ant P15 actual use experience sharing

Light warehousing operation test: BYD Blue Ant P15 actual use experience sharing(Image1)

In light storage scenarios such as small e-commerce warehouses and community distribution warehouses, the flexibility and battery life of electric forklifts directly affect the efficiency of operations. This time, we conducted a week-long test of this light electric forklift in a small storage center that handles an average of 2,000 goods per day, and shared the real experience from the actual operation scene.

Flexibility to handle and adapt to narrow storage environments

The channel width of most light storage centers is generally between 1.5 and 2 meters, which puts forward higher requirements for the turning radius and body size of the forklift. In practice, the compact body of this forklift can easily complete the steering and U-turn actions within a narrow channel of 1.5 meters, without the need to repeatedly adjust the position, effectively reducing the waiting time in the operation. The operation handle adopts ergonomic design, and the holding comfort is good. After half an hour of training, the novice can independently complete the basic operations such as pallet handling and stacking, which reduces the cost of personnel training.

Battery life and energy consumption meet single-day operation requirements

Aiming at the single-day operation time of light-duty warehousing, we simulated a continuous 8-hour operation scenario, covering a variety of operations such as pallet handling, shelf stacking, and cargo sorting assistance. After the operation, the remaining power can still support about 1 hour of light-load operation, fully meeting the single-day operation needs of most light-duty warehousing centers. In terms of energy consumption, the energy consumption under different operation scenarios is stable, and there is no situation of excessive no-load energy consumption. Long-term use can effectively reduce operating costs.

Warehouse scene adaptation performance balance

In the pallet handling process, this forklift truck can be adapted to common standard pallets on the market, and the lifting process is smooth and there will be no shaking of goods. In the shelf stacking operation, the maximum lifting height can cover the three-layer shelf requirements of most light storage, meeting the operation of loading and removing goods from the shelves. At the same time, the tires of the forklift truck have good adaptability to epoxy floors and slightly uneven cement floors, and there are no slippage or obvious bumps during the operation, ensuring the stability of cargo transportation.

Overall, this light electric forklift's performance in terms of handling flexibility, battery life, and scene adaptability can well match the needs of light warehousing operations, and is suitable for use in small e-commerce warehouses, community distribution warehouses, and other scenarios. It provides warehousing practitioners with a practical working tool.
