Forklift stroboscopic warning lights, as an important safety device in forklift operations, can alert surrounding personnel and vehicles to avoid and ensure operation safety under complex working conditions. Once a failure occurs, it will not only weaken the safety warning effect, but also may cause operation risks. Therefore, it is essential to promptly troubleshoot faults and select suitable lighting accessories.
Common stroboscopic warning lamp failures are mainly divided into three categories: one is that the warning lamp is not on at all, and the high probability is that the power supply line is faulty, such as the power interface is loose, the fuse is blown, or the internal power module of the lamp is damaged; the other is that the stroboscopic frequency is abnormal, which may be due to the failure of the internal control circuit of the lamp, or the voltage fluctuation exceeds the suitable range of the lamp; the third is the insufficient brightness, which is mostly caused by the aging of the lamp bead, the serious dust accumulation of the light transmission cover, or the insufficient power supply voltage. When investigating, you need to follow the principle of easy before difficult. Check the external circuit and power supply first, and then gradually disassemble the lamp to check the internal components.
When selecting suitable lighting accessories, three core points need to be paid attention to. The first is the matching of specifications, to ensure that the rated voltage of the accessories is consistent with the forklift circuit system, and the interface type needs to be fully compatible with the original lamps to avoid failure to install or damage the circuit due to specifications; the second is the adaptation of protection level, forklifts are mostly operated in outdoor, storage and other dusty and humid environments, and the accessories need to have the corresponding dustproof and waterproof level to ensure stable operation in complex environments; the last is the installation adaptation, the installation bracket and fixed point of the accessories need to match the original position of the forklift to reduce the safety hazards caused by the modification.
When replacing lamp accessories, it is necessary to disconnect the forklift power supply first to avoid the risk of electric shock; when removing old accessories, pay attention to record the line connection method to prevent wiring errors of new accessories; after installation, power-on test is required to check whether the strobe state and brightness of the warning light are normal to ensure that the accessories can play a normal safety warning role. In daily operation and maintenance, regularly cleaning the light-transmitting cover of the warning light and checking the connection status of the line can effectively reduce the failure rate and prolong the service life of the lamp.
