Basic operating process

Preparation before operation

Before the official operation, the operator needs to conduct a comprehensive inspection of the electric forklift, first check whether there are bumps, deformation and other damage to the appearance of the body, confirm that the fork is not bent or cracked, and the fork positioning pin is firm and reliable. Then check whether the battery power is sufficient, and the power display needs to meet the operation needs. At the same time, check whether the braking system and steering system are sensitive and effective, and whether there is leakage in the hydraulic pipeline to ensure that the components are in normal condition before starting.

Start and run operation

Insert the forklift key into the ignition switch, turn clockwise to the power-on position, and then the instrument panel lights up to confirm that the indicators are normal. Press the brake pedal, switch the gear lever to the desired driving gear, slowly release the brake pedal, and gently press the acceleration pedal to control the driving speed. Keep a clear line of sight during driving, pay attention to the surrounding environment, and slow down in advance when turning to avoid sharp turns and stops to ensure smooth driving.

Loading and unloading operations

When approaching the goods, slowly drive to the appropriate position, adjust the spacing of the forks to match the width of the goods, and then operate the lifting rod to smoothly insert the fork into the bottom of the goods. After confirming that the fork is fully entered, slowly lift the fork so that the goods leave the ground at a certain height to avoid excessive lifting. Keep the goods stable during handling and avoid shaking. After reaching the unloading point, slowly lower the fork to the ground. After confirming that the goods are placed firmly, pull out the fork to complete the job.

Parking operation

After the operation, drive the forklift to the designated parking area, press the brake pedal to stop the vehicle, switch the shift lever to the empty gear, pull up the handbrake, then turn off the ignition switch and pull out the key. Finally, check whether the fork is lowered to the lowest position and confirm that the vehicle is in a safe state before leaving.

Work safety precautions

Pre-operation safety check

In addition to routine appearance and component inspections, operators need to confirm that they are in good condition, free from fatigue, drinking and other discomforts, and wear necessary protective equipment, such as non-slip shoes, hard hats, etc. At the same time, check the work area for obstacles, water accumulation and other safety hazards to ensure the safety of the working environment.

Driving safety regulations

When driving, you must strictly abide by the speed limit regulations of the factory area, and drive at a low speed in narrow passages or crowded areas to avoid blowing horns to scare others. It is forbidden to carry people, and it is forbidden to stack goods beyond the specified range on the forklift fork. During driving, you must not adjust the driving direction at will, and avoid sudden acceleration or sudden braking.

Safety points of loading and unloading operations

When loading and unloading goods, it is necessary to confirm that the weight of the goods is within the rated load range of the forklift truck, and it is forbidden to overload the operation. When lifting or lowering the fork, it is necessary to operate smoothly to avoid the goods falling and hurting people. When stacking the goods, it is necessary to ensure that the goods are stacked firmly to prevent collapse. Keep a safe distance from the goods during operation and avoid body parts close to the fork or goods.

Emergency handling

If there is a vehicle failure or abnormal situation during the operation, it is necessary to stop the operation immediately, park the forklift to a safe area, turn off the power supply, evacuate to a safe location, and report it to the relevant person in charge in time, and wait for professional maintenance. In the event of an emergency such as a drop of goods, it is necessary to quickly stay away from the dangerous area to avoid injury.
