For electric forklifts in the factory, monthly maintenance is a key step in maintaining their stable operation and prolonging their service life. The rational selection of grease consumables and the correct use of supporting tools directly affect the maintenance effect.
The first is the choice of grease consumables. Hydraulic oil is the core consumable to ensure the normal operation of the forklift hydraulic system. It is necessary to choose a model that meets the system pressure and temperature requirements to avoid wear and tear of hydraulic components due to oil discrepancies. Gear oil is mainly used in drive axles, gearboxes, and other transmission parts. It is necessary to have good wear resistance and oxidation resistance to prevent excessive wear during gear meshing. Grease is suitable for easy-to-wear movable parts such as gantry hinges and steering rods. When selecting, it is necessary to pay attention to its high and low temperature resistance and adapt to different working environments in the factory.
The supporting maintenance tools are also crucial. The oil injector can accurately inject hydraulic oil into the system to avoid oil contamination; the oil level gauge is used to regularly detect the liquid level of various oils and replenish insufficient oil in time; the grease gun can evenly apply grease to the hinge, tie rod and other parts to ensure that the lubrication is in place; the cleaning brush can clean the dust and oil on the surface of the parts before maintenance to prevent impurities from mixing into the consumables and affecting the use effect; the torque wrench is used to tighten various types of bolts to ensure the stability of the connection of the parts and avoid potential safety hazards caused by improper tightening.
When performing monthly maintenance, there are several points to pay attention to. First, the grease consumables need to match the model and system parameters of the forklift and cannot be replaced at will; second, the operation specifications should be followed when using supporting tools, such as keeping the tools clean when filling oil, and the butter gun needs to be exhausted before use; third, after the maintenance is completed, start the forklift for practice running, check the running status of the hydraulic system and transmission parts, and confirm that the maintenance effect is up to standard.
Scientifically selecting grease consumables and supporting tools and performing monthly maintenance of electric forklifts can not only reduce the incidence of equipment failure, but also reduce subsequent maintenance costs and ensure the efficient and smooth operation of logistics operations in the factory.
