Daily use specification

In daily operation, it is necessary to avoid overcharging or overdischarging the battery. When the power shows that there is about 20% remaining, it should be charged in time to prevent deep discharge from damaging the battery cells. At the same time, avoid leaving the forklift in full load operation for a long time, especially when climbing or handling heavy objects. Reasonably control the operation intensity and reduce the loss caused by the instantaneous high current discharge of the battery. In addition, try to keep a smooth start and a uniform speed during operation. Frequent sudden acceleration or sudden braking will increase the battery burden and shorten the service life.

Charging and maintenance points

Before charging, make sure that the charging environment is well ventilated, avoid charging in a closed or high temperature environment, and prevent the battery from heating up and causing safety hazards. Use the original factory-matched charger, and do not mix different types of chargers to avoid battery damage due to voltage or current mismatch. The whole process needs to be monitored during the charging process. Disconnect the power supply in time after the power is fully charged to avoid floating charging for a long time. If the forklift has not been used for a long time, it needs to be recharged every 15-30 days to maintain battery activity.

Cleaning and maintenance

Regularly clean the surface of the battery, wipe the dust and stains with a dry and soft cloth, avoid using a high-pressure water gun or corrosive cleaner to rinse, and prevent moisture from entering the inside of the battery and causing a short circuit. Check whether the battery terminals are loose or oxidized. If oxidation is found, you can gently sand them with fine sandpaper and apply protective grease to ensure that the terminals are firmly connected and reduce the power loss caused by poor contact. In addition, regularly check the battery shell for cracks or leaks. If any abnormalities are found, you need to contact a professional in time to deal with them.

Storage precautions

Charge the battery to 50% -70% before long-term storage. Do not store it at full power or loss of power, otherwise it will accelerate the aging of the battery. The storage environment should be kept dry and ventilated, and the temperature should be controlled between 5 ° C and 25 ° C. Avoid direct sunlight or close to heat sources to prevent the battery from bulging or performance degradation due to excessive temperature. During storage, check the battery power every other month. If the power is lower than 50%, replenish it in time. After storage, conduct a complete charge and discharge cycle before putting it into use.

Common troubleshooting tips

If you find that the cruising range of the forklift has dropped significantly, you can check whether the battery terminals are loose first, and then reconnect them after cleaning. If the charger frequently jumps off during charging, you need to check whether the charging interface is stained or damaged, and try again after cleaning. If the battery bulges, you should stop using it immediately and contact a professional for maintenance. Do not disassemble the battery yourself to avoid safety accidents.
