The stable operation of an electric forklift is inseparable from regular maintenance. The filter element acts as a "protective barrier" for the equipment, which directly affects the working efficiency and service life of each system. For BYD forklifts, mastering the replacement cycle of the filter element and the identification method of the parts is the key to scientific maintenance work.
Different types of filter elements bear different filtration responsibilities, and the replacement cycle needs to be adjusted according to the actual operating conditions. The air filter element mainly filters the air entering the motor and hydraulic system. If the forklift is operating in a dust-intensive environment, it is recommended to replace it every 2000 hours; under normal indoor or cleaning conditions, it can be extended to 3000 hours. The hydraulic oil filter element is responsible for filtering impurities in the hydraulic oil. The first replacement should be carried out after the equipment has been running for 1000 hours, and the subsequent replacement should be carried out every 2000 hours. If there is abnormal noise or pressure fluctuation in the hydraulic system, it needs to be checked and replaced in advance. The coolant filter element is used to purify the cooling system medium and ensure the heat dissipation efficiency of the power battery and the motor. The replacement cycle is once every 3000 hours. The brake fluid filter is related to the safety of the braking system. It is recommended to replace it every 4000 hours, and check the turbidity and water content of the brake fluid simultaneously.
Correctly identifying qualified filter element accessories is the core link to avoid inferior accessories damaging equipment. First of all, check the model identification of the accessories. The surface of the regular filter element will be clearly marked with the appropriate model, specification parameters and other information, and the font is regular and not easy to fall off; inferior accessories often have vague identification, incomplete information and even wrong labeling. Secondly, observe the appearance details. The shell seams of the qualified filter element are uniform and flat, and the matching sealing rubber ring has good elasticity and no signs of aging and cracking; inferior products may have problems such as shell deformation and insufficient hardness of the rubber ring. In addition, the material texture is also an important criterion for judgment. The filter material of the high-quality filter element is fine and uniform, and the pressure bearing is strong. The filter material of the inferior filter element is rough and loose, which is prone to damage and leakage of the filter. Before replacement, it is necessary to carefully check the interface size of the filter element to ensure that it is fully matched with the installation position of the equipment to avoid problems such as loose sealing and oil leakage due to dimensional deviation.
Regular replacement of qualified filter elements can effectively reduce the incidence of equipment failure and prolong the service life of each system. Forklift users need to strictly follow the replacement cycle according to the actual working environment, and select suitable accessories through correct identification methods to provide reliable guarantee for the stable operation of BYD forklifts.
