The core points of daily battery maintenance
The battery of the electric forklift ECB16S is the core component to ensure the operating efficiency of the equipment. Doing a good job in daily maintenance can prolong the service life and reduce the hidden trouble. The following are practical methods.
Charge and discharge standard operation
Charging needs to be started when the remaining battery power is 20% -30% to avoid deep discharge damage to the battery; the charging environment needs to be well ventilated, away from high-temperature heat sources, follow the specified time of the device, and prohibit overcharging. Avoid long-term full-load operation, steep slope acceleration and other high-intensity operations during discharge to prevent current sudden changes from impacting the battery.
Regular inspection and maintenance
Check the battery terminals every week to ensure that the connection is firm, and slight corrosion can be wiped and dried with water; check the battery electrolyte level (kept at the safe scale) and single voltage every month, and check for abnormalities in a timely manner. Regularly clean the dust stains on the battery surface to avoid the accumulation of debris affecting heat dissipation. It is strictly forbidden to place metal objects on the battery.
Environmental and storage maintenance precautions
Daily use avoids long-term continuous operation in extremely cold or above 40 ° C environments to reduce battery load; maintain battery power at about 50% when idle for a long time, and replenish it to the standard value once a month. The storage environment needs to be dry and ventilated to avoid moisture and sun exposure.
