BYD CPD series forklift axle overhaul accessories set instructions for use

As the core bearing and transmission component of an electric forklift, the axle bears the influence of heavy loads, frequent starts and stops for a long time. Regular overhaul and replacement of supporting accessories are the key links to ensure the operation performance of the forklift. Using a special overhaul parts set can effectively reduce the risk of parts adaptation and improve the standardization and efficiency of maintenance operations.

First, preliminary preparations

Before using the overhaul accessory set, three core preparations need to be made: first, the tool adaptation, prepare the torque wrench, hydraulic jack, special dismantling sleeve, seal installation tool, etc., to ensure that the tool matches the specifications of the axle components; secondly, the vehicle status confirmation, park the forklift on a flat hard ground, pull up the parking brake, disconnect the main power switch, and use the safety bracket to firmly support the body to avoid vehicle displacement during maintenance; finally, the accessory inspection, one by one, check the model, specification and integrity of each accessory in the set to confirm that there are no bumps, deformation or seal damage, so as to avoid affecting the quality of the overhaul due to accessory problems.

Second, the operation steps of accessory replacement

1. Disassemble the old parts: first remove the forklift tires and brake components, use special tools to remove the half-shaft bolts, differential end covers in turn, and remove the half-shaft, differential assembly and related seals. During the process, pay attention to marking the installation position of the parts to avoid subsequent assembly errors. Avoid violent operation during disassembly to prevent damage to the axle shell and other basic components.

2. Installation of new accessories: Install the new accessories in the set according to the disassembly and reverse sequence, first apply the new seal with special grease and put it into the corresponding position, and then install the differential assembly and half shaft to ensure that the parts fit tightly; when fastening bolts, use a torque wrench to operate according to the specified torque to avoid failure caused by too loose or too tight.

3. Brake system assembly: After installing the new brake assembly, it is necessary to adjust the braking clearance to the standard range to ensure stable braking effect and avoid soft braking or stagnation.

III. Post-inspection and maintenance tips

After the replacement of the parts is completed, two key inspections are required: first, the torque re-inspection, re-checking the torque value of all fastening bolts to ensure that they meet the maintenance standards; second, the trial operation test, starting the forklift to drive at low speed, checking the axle for abnormal noises and vibrations, and testing whether the braking performance is normal. In daily use, it is necessary to regularly check the sealing state of the axle and the lubricating oil level, and deal with leaks or abnormal oil in a timely manner to prolong the service life of the axle.
