The low temperature environment of electric forklifts in winter will have a certain impact on the performance of the equipment. Mastering reasonable maintenance skills can ensure the stable operation of the equipment, prolong the service life, and reduce the risk of failure during operation.
Battery low temperature maintenance: Low temperature will significantly reduce battery activity. Before operation, the battery can be preheated to avoid storage at full power or loss. Regularly check the fastening of battery terminals to prevent oxidation from affecting electrical conductivity and ensure stable battery life.
Power system adaptation adjustment: The viscosity of lubricating oil will increase in low temperature environments. Special lubricating oil suitable for low temperature environments should be selected to check the wear of driving components, and lubricating oil should be added or replaced in time to ensure smooth power transmission and reduce abnormal wear of components.
Hydraulic system preheating maintenance: Low temperature can easily lead to poor hydraulic oil fluidity or even solidification. Before operation, the hydraulic system can be idled for several minutes to gradually increase the oil temperature. At the same time, check the hydraulic pipeline for leakage and tighten the interface in time to avoid hydraulic oil leakage affecting the operation.
Electrical and body protection: Clean up the stagnant water and frost attached to the body in time, check whether the wiring is damaged and aging, and take rainproof and antifreeze measures to avoid short circuits of electrical components due to moisture. During daily storage, try to park the equipment in a warm and ventilated room to reduce the continuous impact of low temperature on the equipment and reduce later maintenance costs.
